Images missing

Started a game after several months of not playing so I can't pinpoint what/when the issue started.
Leader portraits and starship add ons don't show up. If I look at the leader tab I can see all their stats and other information but the portrait is a black box. If I'm designing a ship none of the add ons show up in the component bar at the bottom. They are there and I can click on them and get accurate information. But no image.
