Diplomacy Screen War Peace Bug?

I was at war with the Krynn syndicate.

I signed a peace treaty with the Krynn syndicate and ended the war.

Afterwards when I accessed the Diplomacy screen and selected speak the game seems to think I am both at war and peace with the Krynn Syndicate.

Also when I go to data bank-> Treaties tab the game says Treaty: Permanent War, Duration: Indefinite 

I think there might be a bug that caused the game to think I am both at war and peace at the same time.
