Question about ship modules

- When I go to design upgraded versions of ships, I'm unable to keep the class modules, ie, fighter, bomber, etc. When deleting an existing item on the design, the module is automatically deleted and I don't see any way to reinstall one. This, for example, results in lower evasion rating for fighters. Does this need to be fixed, or am I missing something?
