Ship Design Process Changes

I run 2.1 Insiders Edition.

I go to the shipyard window and choose New Design.

Then I use the existing ships list.

Then I double click to select a current design.

If I make change(s) and press Save then I am returned to the existing ships list.

But if I press cancel I am removed from the entire shipyard windows. This is a very recent change and is rather annoying.
