Ships do not travel through subspace gates

I have this bug in Supernova where ships do not travel through subspace gate - they go into a loop and travel in the middle of nowhere (not along the gate) and then go back to the sector they started from. Now it said the sector was out of range but there was a small piece that was in range.

It should be traveling along the green line by the subspace gate in picture attached. But it seems to travel along the red line and then jumps back to where it started by yellow circle. and just stays in the loop and never goes anywhere.
