How To Get Rid of Accumulated Ship Designs

I just started a new game and, as shown in the screen snapshot below, I have a ship available to build in my shipyard that should not be available (Praxis, Custom 8). This was a ship that I created by modifying the Praxis ship in a previous game. Apparently, this ship design (and others) are saved somewhere.
What I would like to know is, where are these ship designs stored and how can I get rid of them to start "clean"?
