Ideology Setting Not Being Saved Between Games

I noticed that a new version downloaded yesterday so I started a new game as my favorite Mimot Brotherhood.  When I did, I noticed a minor little annoyance and wanted to ask if it was intentional or a mistake.  When you click on the "Customize" button you get a popup window that asks if you want to use your last custom settings for the selected faction.  If I say "Yes", all of the customized settings from my previous game are selected except for one: Ideology.  I set my selected ideology to "Opportunity", but that does not save for the next time I start a new game.  Is this intentional or was that setting just missed?
