Minots gave me a planet??

I have unknowingly gained a new planet from the Minots. I don't recall bargaining for one in a trade deal unless I missed it on the one deal I made with them. It is in a sector that I have not yet even visited. I don't even have a hyperlane to that sector.
1) Is this some sneaky way for them to get into my Empire and eat all my food?
2) Can I expect the same thing from the Fetoon to ley eggs in all my colonists?
3) Should I even keep this planet? Maybe I should blow it up. Can I? If so, how?
