Game freezes

The last two games I have played the game freezes up suddenly. Or more correctly... I won't finish the AI turn. I can do everything, but when I'm done moving and building and what not it won't be my turn.
This was an issue in GCIII and it's only on 0.55 on GCIV I have had this problem.
Anyone else having problems with this or have a solution?
